CoD 4 1.6 Patch Drops

The much anticipated downloadable content and new patch for the PC version of Call of Duty landed today, with millions of gamers rabidly clicking the download link on their nearest file mirrors.

Weighing in at a hefty 280MB, the patch includes the 4 Maps Broadcast, Creek, Chinatown and Killhouse bringing some new spice to it's multiplayer lineup.

Broadcast looks to be the crowd favourite at this early stage, being a remake of the single player mission "Charlie Don't Surf".

Aside from the maps, the patch brings some new changes, including the ability to filter servers by the Hardcore and Old School modes, as well as a fix for a DDoS exploit. The patch also includes all of the fixes in the patches before it, and you will need to download it to play online once the servers update from 1.5.
